Still Here

Wow just checking in to see if anyone is still around....

day 1

So i logged into the earth and beyond emulator today and i have to say that it was shockingly close to what was available prior to the shutdown. the actual installation took much longer than anticipated but i got it done. i will try to document the process of relevelling back to my lvl 150 JE. wish me luck! If anyone is still reading this after all these years, than i hope to see you back in the game. i am using the tag "eureka"!

Not sure who is still out there, but I plan on going to STO when it comes live in Feb. Also looks like the www.sidewindersguild.com is finally off the grid. Oh well.

I will also try and setup a forum for the new guild once it is operational......big if...since I'm the only one holding the fort at the moment.

ENB Emulator

Thanks to jenneth for the heads up on the ENB Emulator. Demo looks great. They are no longer accepting beta testers, but it looks like they will eventually have something up and running one day!

Guild Information

The Sidewinders Guild was originally formed in the fall of 2002 as a part of a space based MMORPG called Earth and Beyond and eventually grew in membership to over 400 players. Because of the recent announcement about the coming termination of Earth and Beyond, members of the guild have decided to keep the guild around as a general communications base as people move on to other games. Now, members of the Sidwinders Guild can be found in games like Star Wars Galaxies, Final Fantasy XI, Lineage II and EVE Online.
